Theory of Soft Matter

We are working in the following areas of soft condensed matter:

  • Structure, dynamics and transport in soft matter systems
  • Nonequilibrium statistical mechanics and systematic coarse graining
  • Interfaces and boundary phenomena
  • Systems under study: polymers, liquid-crystals, colloids, glasses, etc.
  • Computer simulations: Molecular Dynamics, Monte-Carlo, Brownian dynamics and novel, hybrid schemes.
