Outreach
I am Director of Outreach in the Department of Mathematics & Statistics at the University of Reading. The regular programme of events I am responsible for and partake in, in collaboration with Student Outreach and Recruitment at the University, are:
Reading Maths Scholars; and
Taster Days.
I also undertake outreach visits to local schools in Berkshire demonstrating the applicability of mathematics in biological, medical and everyday contexts.
