Graph Sketching and Newton Raphson

You can select one of various functions, and its equation is shown.

Press next and then the equation of its derivative is shown.

Press next a number of times and data about the function at certain points are shown and the tangent to the curve plotted. This you might do to aid sketching the curve.

Finally the actual function is plotted, and you can interactively find its roots using Newton Raphson.

Click on the graph to enter the value of t for the first guess, and see the tangent to the function plotted. Press Next Guess, and see the algorithm iterate.
