EC246-2-AU: International Trade Institutions and Policy

Here are some relevant journals, with their publisher's websites:

  1. World Trade Review, published by Cambridge University Press in close cooperation with the World Trade Organization (WTO) – an independent, multi-disciplinary journal that aims to deepen understanding of issues facing the international trading system, appearing three times a year (in March, July and November) as from 2002: because it is a very recent periodical title, unfortunately, it is not (yet) available at the Albert Sloman Library.
  2. Journal of World Trade, Kluwer Law International – focuses on the legal aspects of the global trading system and was initially published (1967-1987) under the name of Journal of World Trade Law: articles can be consulted either at the Albert Sloman Library or on the publisher's website (click the link above).
  3. The World Economy, Blackwell Publishing: intended for researchers, analysts and policy-advisors interested in trade policy and other open economy issues embracing international trade and the environment, international finance, and trade and development; while concentrating on trade policy issues – on a country basis, regionally and globally – it also covers broader issues such as exchange rates, IMF/World Bank, debt, environmental and other international issues as they relate to trade; accessible for reading at the Albert Sloman Library.
  4. Journal of International Economics, Elsevier Science – a major outlet (since 1971) for theoretical and empirical research in all areas of international economics, including in particular trade patterns, commercial policy and international institutions: accessible for reading either at the Albert Sloman Library or via its EBSCO Host Electronic Journal Service facility.
